About

Picture
Born & raised in the bustling city of Tampa, I never knew what God had in store for my life. If you would've told me I would be called into ministry, or that I would meet my husband in Tennessee, I probably would've tried to called your bluff. And if you would've tried to predict that I would start a website to keep my thoughts in order, and that website would turn into a full blown thing -- this thing that you're reading today, I would've bet money against you. Needless to say, this was unplanned and unexpected — but WELCOME nonetheless! I'm so happy and humbled you're here!

Some things people know about me right off the bat, I'm energetic and have big dreams. I love making lists, but tend to write them in pencil because life is constantly changing. Which is actually totally fine with me because I thrive off of change. I am a strong believer in collaboration over competition, and tend to thrive in group settings.

Some of the things people wouldn't know right after meeting me: I crave deep conversations, I am always up to mentally spar with someone (not argue, there is a difference), I am able to see almost every angle to almost every argument, & I think tea is way better than coffee (I know, I'm so sorry to disappoint you).

I’m married to the funniest, most attractive, Jesus-loving guy on the planet (of course I’m not biased). We met and currently live in the great city of Knoxville. I spend my days at a fabulous job where I get to make Jesus famous and help students take their next right step in their relationship with Him. And I spend my nights writing, planning, and dreaming about ways I can help you (and myself) do the same!

Here's the thing, I don’t know it all and will never claim I do. But, what I do know is that life is too short and God is too good for me to stay silent, quit learning, & to stand back. So, whether I’m speaking at an event, writing a blog post, or telling you my thoughts and dreams, know that my goal is to encourage, equip, & empower YOU & others for the sake of the gospel!
